Phil Cisco started tattooing here in the city in 1989 and has not
stopped. Like many of us, he was attracted to the industry because of the
hardcore grittiness of the art and did what it took to get himself a seat
in a shop. He has worked with some of the top names in the industry,
but "Philthy" found his home with us at Tattoo Factory. Pete, the founder
of Tattoo Factory, did not train him but he carries the respect of
someone who did. While he is the artist with the most seniority here at the
shop he would never flaunt it. People are taken aback that someone with
such a reputation can keep himself as humble and approachable as he
does.

Philthy is capable of doing any piece of art in the shop and is willing
to work with a client to give them the tattoo they deserve. Phil pairs
his artistic abilities with his sense of realism in bold color design.
